Best of 2014 – Growth in Services

In 2014, we saw big growth in our services.  Southern Solutions provides managed network / IT services and print management services (monthly recurring services) and equipment installation services and IT support (transactional services).  Total services revenue increased 14% over 2013 and recurring services increased 25%!

Managed Network / IT Services – Southern Solutions provides monthly IT services and proactive management to many customers in Southern Maryland.   We act as their IT department and specialize in remote services, cloud services and network design.  For more information on our network and IT solutions, click here.

Print Management Services – We provide the management of hundreds of copier and printer devices in Southern Maryland producing more than 1.5 million impressions every month.   Our remote monitoring tools notify us when toner and other supplies are needed so we can send out and our local technicians provide maintenance as needed.  Our Print Management Solution on average saves customers 30% from attempting to maintain devices on your own. Equipment Installation Services – Southern Solutions provides professional network installation and on-site training for hundreds of new Xerox copiers & printers in Southern Maryland every year.   We take pride on keeping up with the latest operating systems so we can deliver a seamless transition.  Our analyst, Michael Eaton was even named Xerox’s first online forum member of the month last June for his contributions in sharing knowledge on installations.

IT Support – Southern Solutions provides IT Support as needed to many customers in Southern Maryland.   Often calls we receive are to install a new computer, set-up a server or install a wireless network.  For more information on our IT support, click here.

We just recently began offering Partner Services which includes our customized Contact Us App.   With the Contact Us App, partners can communicate with their customers directly through the Xerox user interface and customers can request service, request supplies, order Xerox Eco Boxes for easy return and recycling of supplies and provide feedback.   We have been working with partners from all around the country and discussing with partners in other areas as well.  Southern Solutions will be launching additional services for partners in 2015 and we are excited at the growth potential of this new recurring service.
