When Immediate Image Overwrite is turned on for Xerox multifunction printers, it is automatically executed immediately after (copy/print/scan/fax) jobs are completed to remove image data from disk or other non-volatile storage by utilizing a a three-pass algorithm overwrite.
This feature provides peace of mind security that data is unavailable immediately after the job is performed at the multifunction printer. We enable this feature upon install for all of our clients.
