To help keep your Google account secure, starting May 30, 2022, ​​Google will no longer support the use of third-party apps or devices which ask you to sign in to your Google Account using only your username and password. This video shows how to generate an authentication code from your Google account and enter into the Xerox device’s settings for continued use of Scan to Email on the Xerox multifunction copier or printer.

Scan to Email continues to be shown to be the primary way clients perform scanning on their Xerox multifunction printer. With Scan to Email, clients select the Scan to Email icon on the device, enter their hard copy documents in the document feeder and select their email address where the scan images should be sent to. Email addresses can be saved for quick access and the Xerox device also will integrate with LDAP for the company address book. Scanned images can be in PDF, TIFF or JPEG formats. Additional options to select before scanning include the level of resolution and 2-sided scanning.

All types of Xerox devices from desktop multifunction printers to stand alone multifunction copiers include the ability to Scan to Email. This gives users a common experience when working in the office, virtual or in a hybrid environment.
