In recent Xerox firmware (systems software) versions, while setting up Scan to Email in the encryption screen, there is a new checkbox: “Validate Server Certificate”. Should you run into gmail (or other email providers) not working with Scan to Email, please go to this encryption screen and uncheck the “Validate Server Certificate”.
