Getting to Know the People Behind Just·Tech
Here at Just·Tech, we think it’s important for our employees to know how much we value their time, their talent, and who they are as people. We had the opportunity to talk with Brian Presley, Senior Solutions Specialist from our Huntington, West Virginia location. It was great to get to know Brian better, and we are excited for you to learn about him, too!
Hi, Brian! Thanks for talking with us today. Can you start off by telling us a little bit about yourself?
My name is Brian Presley. I moved to Huntington in 2003 and have been here for 17 years now. I’m a lifelong West Virginian and really love West Virginia. I’ve been married to my wife, Jenn, for two years now. I’m a big animal lover and have a couple of cats, Ava and Levee.
Awesome! So, what brought you to Just·Tech?
I have been in the technology industry going on 11 years. I was formerly with Peake Office Solutions, but we merged with Just·Tech. I’ve always had a passion for technology and was brought on as a part of the merger.
We’re glad you came on board! What are your main responsibilities working here?
I work to help clients. I’m responsible for bringing in new clients and retaining clients. I help clients work through issues and get their technology to work and stay up-to-date, to run at its optimal state inside the business environment.
Love it. What would you tell a customer who is considering working with Just·Tech?
We take a totally different approach than other technology companies in the area. We are proactive instead of reactive. Our goal is to always keep your tech up to an optimal state.
Perfect! What do you enjoy most about being a part of the Just·Tech team?
The family atmosphere. As we’ve grown as a company, upper management is still very accessible with a very family feel. I also enjoy all the knowledge that our team brings; I’ve learned so much through collaboration with the other team members inside Just·Tech.
When you’re not working, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy music to the extreme; playing, attending festivals. I love the outdoors, hiking, fishing, golfing. Music and the outdoors are what drive me. I also really like DIY electronic products, not only like tech at work but I love playing with it, too.
Those are great! I know COVID-19 has messed up a lot of vacation plans, so how do you plan to spend your summer?
We have a very lucky opportunity to be in West Virginia because we have so much natural social distancing in our own backyard. We did have plans, they’re kind of still in flux, but the backup plan is camping in West Virginia, backpacking in Eastern West Virginia; outdoor hiking and backpack trips.
That would be fun! What are your favorite hiking trails?
Long Point and Endless Wall in Fayetteville.
We need to try those out! What’re your favorite summertime snacks?
I would have to go with pickles. I’m a big pickle fan. And watermelon! I’m a big watermelon person.
Two delicious choices! What song artists or bands are on your summer playlist?
Billy Strings, Widespread Panic, and Umphrey’s McGee.
Thanks again for talking with us today, Brian! If a customer needs to reach you, what is the best way to get in contact with you?
You can reach me on my office phone at 304-525-4009, extension 1556.
Thanks for being a part of the Just·Tech family, Brian! It was awesome getting to know you better today.
