We had the opportunity to chat with Jen Bonner, Regional Manager at our Morgantown, West Virginia location. Jen provided us with some great insight into what it is like working within JustTech, and why she enjoys being a part of the company. 

Hi, Jen! Thanks for taking the time to talk with us today. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I grew up in Morgantown. My dad, Bob Klein,  who you interviewed previously, was a Xerox Direct employee and agency owner, so I was exposed to the business and industry as I was growing up. 
I went to school at Penn State and was a business major; I majored in marketing with a minor in business law. From there, I ended up taking a sales position with Xerox Corporation, where I represented large accounts in the DC Metro area. I was there from 2005 until 2012. 
When I was pregnant with my first child, I transferred to Pittsburgh and became the Production Solutions Specialist. Both my husband and I moved and worked there for a couple of years. In 2015, I came back to Morgantown and started working with my parents at the agency and helped my dad run what was Document Solutions at the time, leading up to our merger with JustTech, which happened in October of last year.
Once we joined JustTech, I became the Regional Manager. If anything, it just gave me the ability to grow sales and revenue in this area. Before JustTech, I was wearing every hat; we just didn’t have the infrastructural backbone that JustTech had in place. Now we have more resources and were able to hire two additional reps that are under me.

You have quite the experience! What do you like most about being a part of JustTech?

What I like about JustTech is that we are a company that is really open to change and ideas. We are constantly evolving as the industry changes. While we are really good at Xerox, we are always looking at new ways we can help our customers and be creative with new solutions. JustTech is an innovative place to work and a good size, too. We have a very good infrastructure and support system.
Another big thing is just connecting with the community and being looked at as a local business that is really involved in the community. Whether it’s through my customer base or a community event that is going on, it’s a really great way to stay connected to the community and provide great service. Our kids all go to school here, we work here; as a working mom, it’s important to me that a company values family and offers flexibility, which this company is great at doing. 

We love those things, too! What are your main responsibilities here? 

I am tasked with supporting sales reps that are out in the field and helping them to really drive the growth in their territory from a sales and revenue standpoint. I also do sales and marketing strategies for our region, so I still have a handful of accounts that I handle myself. Training is important, too. For both of my sales reps who came on less than a year ago, I am bringing them up to speed, so they are self-sufficient.

If a company is considering working with JustTech, what would you tell them?

We are not just a copier company. They should consider us because we look at how we can help them grow their business and make the changes that are important to them. We look at it more like a partnership. While we do offer some products like Xerox copiers and printers, and software, we are also a manger of IT providers. We are a one-stop-shop. We aren’t just looking at your copier and walking away -We’re looking at the security of your network, managing costs, and securing your data. Everything is connected in this bubble of technology.

When you’re off the clock, what do you like to do in your spare time?

I spend a lot of time with my family; we all live in Morgantown. I’ve got my parents here, my sister, who has two kids, my brother, who also works for JustTech as one of our technicians and has two kids as well, my grandma who is 93. I really love to do yoga and just spend time with our friends; we have a lot of friends who have kids and make our downtime as fun as possible.
