The Mon County Girls Softball Association is recreational softball league that is a community based, volunteer organization committed to providing a safe, family friendly environment to foster the highest ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork and respect while nurturing each young person physically and emotionally to make them better softball players, good citizens, and prepare them for the challenges of life.
Monongalia County, known locally as Mon County, is located in North Central region of West Virginia. As of the 2010 census, the population was 96,189, making it West Virginia’s fourth-most populous county. Its county seat is at Morgantown and other cities include Westover, Cheat Lake, Granville and Star City.
