We had the opportunity to chat with Alex Martin, Regional Sales Manager at JustTech’s La Plata, Maryland headquarters. Read on to learn more about Alex, his job, and family!
Hi, Alex! Thank you for sitting down with us today. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I’m originally from High Point, North Carolina. I graduated from Virginia Tech and played basketball there. I’m married and have two kids; a daughter, Caroline who is nine, and a son, Wells who is seven. I currently live in Davidsonville, Maryland. I’ve worked in the current industry for 12 years and at JustTech for eight years.
It sounds like you have a lot of experience in the industry! What brought you to JustTech?
I left another Xerox sales agency after Josh contacted me about an open sales representative position, so I went over to Southern Solutions, which is now JustTech.
What are your main responsibilities working here?
I oversee sales reps and handle major accounts in Southern Maryland.
Sounds exciting! What do you like the most about working here?
It’s a great work environment and is family-friendly. I also like how I was the fifth employee and now we have over 50! The growth, in general, is great.
If a company is considering working with JustTech, what would you tell them?
That we are a local company that prides ourselves in our services and customer retention rate.
Very true! When you’re off the clock, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Right now we’re doing a lot with our kids; sports, I coach both of their basketball teams, but they play sports all year round and are involved in that every day of the weekend. I also like to volunteer for their school. I am a big sports fan; basketball, baseball, hockey – pretty much everything, and I like to play golf.
