Getting to Know the People Behind Just·Tech

We had the opportunity to talk with Curtis Cropper, Network Analyst/Technician at our La Plata, Maryland branch. It was wonderful to get to know Curtis better and we are excited for you to learn more about him, his career responsibilities, and his background, too!
Hi, Curtis! Thanks for chatting with us today. Can you start off by telling us a little about yourself?
I’m a veteran, served four years in the United States Marine Corp. I have been married for 20 years with one child, a daughter. Worked for Xerox for 26 years as a Senior Service Technician prior to coming to Just·Tech as a Network Analyst/Technical. I completed a degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) from Strayer University while there.
Thank you for your service! What brought you to Just·Tech?
After finishing my degree in CIS, I was looking to use my IT knowledge along with my Xerox skillset.
We’re glad you are here! What are your main responsibilities working here?
My main duties at Just·Tech as a Network Analyst are to configure customers’ new printers on their networks, customizing printer settings to meet their needs, and training.
What would you tell a customer who is considering working with Just·Tech?
We are a family-oriented business with a focus on a high level of customer service.
Perfect. What do you enjoy the most about being a part of the Just·Tech family?
I enjoy the teamwork throughout the whole company.
When you’re not working, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy watching SyFy shows and movies. I’m a photographer, mountain bike rider, and golfer.
Love it. What was your favorite pastime as a kid before school started up again?
Playing outside during the day with family and friends.
What are you most looking forward to this fall?
Taking pictures of the beautiful foliage.
