We had the opportunity to chat with Mike Clark, Director of IT Services at JustTech’s La Plata, Maryland headquarters. Learn more about Mike, his career, and family below; thank you for sitting down with us today, Mike!

Hi, Mike! First off, can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I started working with JustTech in January 2011; almost 9 years ago. I worked for another service provider before that. My background is managed IT services; I’ve been in IT for 16 years now.

I have a 10-year-old son named Anthony. We like to go hiking, ride bikes, play video games together, nerf guns – all the stuff that little boys like to do.

What an awesome father-son bond that you share! What brought you to JustTech?

I knew who is now the Director of Technology, Michael Eaton, who gave me a chance to start over with a fresh start as far as delivery and support. This team has been really good for us.

Michael is great; What an awesome story of how you joined the JustTech family! What are your main responsibilities working here? 

I oversee managed network services (IT services), and I also oversee staff in contracts, where we provide people to act as an employee as a company. We also run home IT services for some of our customers; some of our contracts are full-time, so 40 hours a week, as well as our internal IT services. Most of all, I support all of our clients, staff, and locations.

What do you like the most about being a part of the JustTech team?

The growth and setting ourselves apart as a unique solution. There are other companies who do what we do, but we are setting ourselves apart as being a one-stop-shop for technology.

We couldn’t agree more! If a company is considering working with JustTech, what would you tell them?

That we provide a good working environment. That JustTech really cares about its employees and that reflects on the services that we can and do provide.  We haven’t lost a single technician since we started!

Very true! When you’re off the clock, what do you like to do in your spare time?

Trying to get the things done that I have to do; yard work, stuff around the house; I also enjoy playing golf.
