Getting to Know the People Behind Just·Tech

Here at Just·Tech, we think it’s important for our employees to know how much we value their time, talent, and who they are as people. We had the opportunity to talk with William Morehead, Network Analyst, working out of our La Plata, Maryland headquarters. It was wonderful to get to know William better, and we are excited for you to learn more about him, his career responsibilities, and his background, too! 

Hi, William! Thanks for chatting with us today. Can you start off by telling us a little about yourself? 

I am a Jack of all trades, master of none. I like to dabble in a little bit of everything. It keeps my mind going. Growing up a military kid, I have moved from coast to coast four times in my life. Much of my life was spent in southern California. I miss the weather, but not much else. I married my high school sweetheart; we have four children. Career-wise, I have been in IT for 13 years. I took two years off to build Jeeps/trucks before I started with Just·Tech.

Wow, that’s a great backstory! What brought you to Just·Tech? 

I was looking to get back into IT due to the long drive I had with my previous job. A friend of mine saw Just·Tech’s post for a Network Analyst position, and I figured, “Why not?” I applied, and a day or so later, I got an email requesting an interview. I interviewed that same week and was offered the position.

So glad that you decided to join the Just·Tech family!! What are your main responsibilities working here? 

My main responsibility is our amazing customers. We strive to take care of their IT issues as quickly as possible so they can get back to work. We have a great system set up for proactive management of workstations and servers so we can identify and correct them before they become work-stopping issues.

Very important work! What would you tell a customer who is considering working with Just·Tech? 

That we offer solutions based on their needs; we are not your typical managed network services provider. We build lasting relationships with our clients, and they know, even after hours, if there is an issue, we will be there for them to solve it.

Love it! What do you enjoy the most about being a part of the Just·Tech family? 

You really said it in the question; it is a big family at Just·Tech. From my initial interview to this day, I have always felt at home. We all work together to solve problems and come up with “outside the box” solutions. It took no time to feel I fit in. From day one, it felt like I had known everyone for a decade.

We’re proud to have you! When you’re not working, what do you like to do in your spare time? 

Fabrication and racing have always been a huge hobby of mine. I raced JeepSpeed in the southwest for many years, helping build and drive two Jeeps for the Best in the Desert racing series. My son races Jr. Dragsters as well. With the lack of desert on the east coast, I am involved with two local Jeep clubs and go to the mountains when we can. I love going to OBX with the family. I absolutely love to cook; I cook most meals in my house. I find it relaxing.

Fantastic! What’s on your Christmas list this year? 

Jeep parts! As they say, Just Empty Every Pocket!

Putting up the Christmas tree with music on with our family.
