Establishing a VPN (Virtual Private Network) may be needed for your organization so employees can access and share documents remotely. A VPN is commonly used and extends a private network across a public network, and enables users to send and receive data across shared or public networks just as if their computing devices were directly connected to the private network.  JustTech has much experience in setting up VPN connections for clients.  In the last week, we have had many requests to establish new VPN connections, both from current clients and new clients.

Remote Login Tools may be used to access documents from a workstation remotely from another location.  There are more limitations with remote login tools as compared to using a VPN including sharing and collaborating on documents.  However, depending on the client’s needs, Remote Login Tools may be the better option.  JustTech works with several different Remote Login Tools and can enable access to these for our clients on a short-term or long-term basis.

Based on availability, JustTech can also provide laptops for short-term or long-term use so employees who may have a desktop workstation in the office would be able to work from home.
