Based in Southern Maryland, this full-time position provides a combination of in-office work and onsite support for local business clients. A company vehicle is provided for business travel.

What You’ll Do

As a Systems Administrator / IT Analyst, you will provide technical support and network administration for a variety of business environments. Responsibilities include:

  • Installing, configuring, and supporting Windows servers and workstations
  • Providing onsite and remote technical support
  • Managing Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID), and Active Directory environments
  • Supporting Hyper-V virtual server environments
  • Troubleshooting networking, firewall, and connectivity issues
  • Implementing security best practices and virus protection solutions
  • Assisting with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot deployments
  • Documenting systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Delivering outstanding customer service while building strong client relationships

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with a combination of technical knowledge, communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant IT certifications such as:
    • CompTIA A+
    • Network+
    • Microsoft Certifications
  • Experience with:
    • Windows Server 2019 or newer
    • Windows 10 & Windows 11
    • Hyper-V
    • Active Directory
    • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
    • Microsoft 365
    • Network security and firewalls
    • Remote and onsite troubleshooting
    • Antivirus and endpoint protection
  • Understanding of:
    • LAN/WAN networking
    • Networking protocols and standards
    • Office productivity applications

Preferred Experience

  • Microsoft Intune
  • Windows Autopilot
  • PowerShell or other scripting/automation experience

Work Location

This is an in-office position with scheduled onsite support for clients throughout the Southern Maryland region.
