Hi, Teri! Thank you so much for talking to us today. We’re so excited to have you here! To start, please tell us about your company.
The Town of Leonardtown is the county seat of St. Mary’s County and was incorporated in 1708 and is overseen by the Commissioners of Leonardtown which consists of a Mayor and five Council Members. The Town is run by the Town Administrator and a staff of eight employees and a facilities staff of five employees who manage the Town’s Waste Water Treatment Plant and one Deputy committed to the Town.
Wow, thank you for that great background information! Fantastic! Can you tell us about your role and responsibilities at the Town of Leonardtown?
When you have been in business for over 300 years with accountability to your residents and businesses, there is a matter of routine, regulations, and laws that are required to be followed by a local government office.
Everyone here at the Town has a unique role but most importantly, we work as an entire team together to ensure that our residents and businesses obtain the necessary information they need to make their lives enjoyable to live and profitable to work in the Town of Leonardtown along with providing entertainment and recreational options to love living in the Town of Leonardtown.
It sounds like you stay busy! When did you first reach out to Just·Tech for assistance? What brought you to us?
The Town staff has grown over these many years and has, as many others, transferred many of the daily procedures from a paper environment to a digital environment. As we needed to concentrate on getting these procedures done in a timely manner, we knew we needed to maintain our focus on our responsibilities, but we needed assistance to ensure our systems run efficiently; hence we contracted with Just·Tech as our staff could not keep up with the daily changes and updates of the digital age.
It’s always great to hear when a business relationship is built on a good foundation. What has your experience been like working with us?
We can focus on what we need to get done in a more timely and efficient manner with the help of Just·Tech. We continue to look at new ways to improve our efficiency and transparency to our constituents in the Town, and Just·Tech is our “go-to” company to flesh out how we can improve. We have a great working relationship, and we receive help quickly when we have important issues that need to be addressed.
So glad we have earned your trust and can continue to earn your trust! If someone were looking for similar services that we provided to you for their business, what would you say to them? Would you recommend us?
During the recent cyberattack we experienced, we were very complimentary of Just·Tech’s approach to working with the staff on bringing us back to normal operations. We do highly recommend Just·Tech and look forward to seeing what new methods they will be putting into place in the future that will increase our productivity and competence in today’s technological world.

Our role is to maintain our productivity on a daily basis to connect with our customers and continue to provide them with good efficient service, which is what we expect from Just·Tech so that we can work together as a team to help resolve any issues quickly so that both teams can continue to move forward as we navigate the blend of today’s technological advances.
