A network assessment is a complete examination of your entire IT infrastructure, including your servers, computers, laptops, tablets, routers, switches, cabling, and monitors as well as your documented security policies, device performance, and management oversight processes.

First, we ask potential clients to complete an Initial Network Questionnaire so we can begin to build a base understanding of the client’s network. This questionnaire also provides insights into remote workers and vital programs that are used by the client. JustTech then moves to the onsite network assessment.

In addition to the items mentioned above, we also take a look at who has access to your network, what can be accessed by who and who may be connecting from guests devices and what access they have.

With more and more employees working virtual or hybrid (where they spend some time in the office and some outside of the office), it is important to look at remote connections as well and how they are secured with a VPN or other access.

We also look at what programs are currently stored on a cloud based service and what programs could be. With hybrid work becoming the new normal and cyber threats increasing, moving programs to the cloud is often a good choice. Some programs may be able to be transitioned to a cloud service offering by the software provider and accessed via web portal, eliminating the need for these programs to be stored on local devices. Other programs may need to be migrated to a secure private cloud server. To ensure a seamless transition to the cloud, JustTech provides our clients with Cloud Orchestration solutions and other Cloud Solutions. Cloud orchestration is the method of automating tasks needed to manage workloads on both the private and public clouds. Cloud orchestration technologies integrate automated tasks and processes into a workflow to perform specific functions.
