JustTech (previously Southern Solutions) invested the additional funds into creating additional apps to license, increasing capabilities with our Managed IT offerings and staffing up more needed positions for growth.
When we look back at the rapid growth of JustTech, closing the app contract with Xerox and the additional funds it provided for reinvestment was the point where things really took off! Most copiers have 6-8 new firmware versions (systems software) released every year to fix security issues, operational issues or new compatibility issues. Some updates are to add new functionality. With all manufacturers, firmware for copiers & multifunction printers has traditionally been installed manually at the device. This time consuming task decreases productivity. There are several tools that decrease the time that is taken to upgrade firmware on multiple devices but these tools still contain multiple steps that must be repeated on an ongoing basis. With JustTech’s Firmware Connect App (previously known as the Firmware Update App), firmware updates on many Xerox models are automatic with no user intervention.
With the Firmware Connect App, firmware is downloaded and installed in sequential order of approved firmware versions and all settings are kept at the device.
