We sat down with Catherine A. Askey, Managing Partner at Askey, Askey & Associates, CPA, LLC in Leonardtown, Maryland and La Plata, Maryland. Catherine has graciously agreed to talk to us today to tell us more about the partnership between Just·Tech and Askey, Askey & Associates. Hi, Catherine! Thank you so much for talking to us today; we’re so excited to have you here! To start off, please tell us about your company.
Askey, Askey & Associates is an 18 member CPA firm with offices in Leonardtown and La Plata, MD. We provide business and individual tax planning, auditing, financial statements, tax returns, payroll services, business valuations, and forensic accounting services in the Southern Maryland section of the Washington Metropolitan area.
That’s amazing! Can you tell us about your role and responsibilities at Askey, Askey & Associates?
As the managing partner, I am responsible for the direction and growth of the firm through technology advancements, personnel recruitment, and training, marketing, etc.
Fantastic! When did you first reach out to Just·Tech for assistance? What brought you to us?
Just·Tech became a client of Askey, Askey and Associates in 2004. I don’t remember whether we bought a copier from them before that time, but since that time we have purchased/leased all of our copiers from Just·Tech and have grown in services to fill all of our information technology needs as well.
What a unique story! It’s wonderful to be able to have such great business relationships. What has your experience been like working with us?
Both of our organizations have grown substantially over other years. They are wonderful to work with because they are responsive and professional. The employees and Josh, the owner, all have great attitudes. Josh treats his employees and his customers like family.
