When looking at our 15 biggest and most impactful moments from the last 15 years, it is hard to ignore the elephant in the room, the Covid-19 global pandemic. JustTech has had to navigate through the global pandemic both internally for our own company and also to help assist our more than 3,000 print and IT clients. The global pandemic has been the most impactful thing to affect JustTech over the last 15 years. Because JustTech has multiple streams of revenue, many of which were unaffected, and thousands of wonderful clients, we made it threw without having to let any employees go.
When the shutdowns began, JustTech increased communication with team members and clients and set up a designated page on our website to share the latest information. JustTech issued covid guidelines that required service personnel to wear masks and use extra precautions and encouraged other staff to work virtually and wear masks while in their offices. JustTech also shared information to our clients on local and federal financial assistance available to businesses. It was our #1 goal to keep our team members and clients healthy and for JustTech and our clients to make it through this challenging time.
More virtual workers suddenly introduced IT challenges with accessing the documents and programs needed to complete work assignments and connecting with fellow employees. JustTech shared resources available to confront these new challenges and set up many Virtual Private Networks for current and new clients over the last 9 months.
JustTech has also recently sold many affordable desktop multifunction devices that solve the issue of printing and scanning from a remote location. These devices provide all of the functionality of our larger devices, just in a smaller footprint and come standard with the ability to copy, print, fax, network scan and scan to email. JustTech provides supplies as needed and onsite service for these devices just as we do with other models. With these plans, supplies cost a fraction of what they would cost from buying cartridges separately at retail prices.
Over the last 8 months, JustTech has purchased tens of thousands of social distance floor graphics to encourage social distancing, JustTech donated these to local businesses, schools & non-profits so they could reopen safely and help reduce the spread of Covid-19.
In May of 2020, JustTech examined many of the resources that businesses would need as they operate during a pandemic and released Your Technology Package for the New Normal. This comprehensive list includes things JustTech can provide and also items available from other companies.
In January of 2021, JustTech launched our Forward, Stronger & Together campaign. We do see the light at the end of the tunnel as vaccines are being distributed and we all hope that things get back to normal sooner than later. In the meantime, JustTech is continuing to support our team members, clients and business community as we continue to navigate through the coronavirus: Forward, Stronger & Together.
JustTech’s Network & IT Solutions business has been unaffected by the pandemic and we have actually brought on 30 new clients. JustTech’s App Solutions business has also been mostly unaffected. JustTech’s Print Solutions business has been affected with managed print volumes being down over 60% during the first 3 months of the pandemic and 35% each month after that. In March, print volume has recovered and are only down 17% from pre-pandemic levels. As children continue to return to schools, employees to offices and people to church, etc., we will continue to see print volume return.
The last 14 months have been the most challenging time in our company’s history and something we will always remember. We are not to a reflection point on the pandemic yet but when we see clients say they we helped them through it, it means a lot. Moving forward, we will be even better prepared when a similar challenge presents itself. You have our promise.
